WDS Super-Guard – Penetrating Lithium Stain Guard – 1 Gal. (RTU)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Super-Guard (SG) is a surface-impregnating based stain guard designed for interior or exterior concrete, stone, and masonry surfaces. This two component product provides a protective barrier that resists staining and creates an abrasion resistant, easy-to-clean surface. It densifies, seals, and repels while maintaining breathability and doesn’t alter the appearance of the substrate.
Super-Guard (SG) combines the benefits of Nano-Lithium® silicate densification with silicon reactive chemistry for superior stain protection. This penetrating sealer produces a water repellent, less porous surface to keep out aggressive salts, such as chlorides and sulfates. Super-Guard (SG) may be used at the end of the polishing process in place of traditional film-forming guard products. This treatment is easy to use and is VOC compliant.

APPLICATION
Only apply when temperatures will be above 40ºF for a minimum of two hours after application.
Clean surface to remove any dust, laitance, curing agents or floor coatings that may prevent Super-Guard (SG) from penetrating.
For exterior use, apply Super-Guard (SG) evenly on the surface with a sprayer. Keep the surface wet with Guard for at least 20 minutes, applying more where needed. As the product dries into the floor, spread any remaining puddles with a soft bristle broom. For interior polished or heavy power troweled concrete, apply Super-Guard (SG) with a sprayer on the surface then spread evenly with a microfiber floor pad. Use joint lines as work area indictors for best results.
Never over-work material into the surface. Leave after spreading. Do not use citrus or acidic cleaners. If prior to application, acidic or d-limonene cleaners have been used, neutralize the surface using an alkaline cleaner (TSP, Tide laundry detergent, etc.).
The surface is ready for use when dry

ESTIMATED COVERAGE
Polished concrete: 800-1000 ft² per gallon (19.6-24.5 m² per liter)
Machine-troweled: 600-800 ft² per gallon (14.7-19.6 m² per liter)
Broom-finished: 250-350 ft² per gallon (6.1-8.6 m² per liter)
*Coverage rate will vary with concrete porosity and environmental conditions.
CLEAN UP
Use soap and water to clean tools and equipment. Although Super-Guard (SG) is non- toxic and environmentally safe, it is alkaline. Use up or dry out extra material and dispose of according to local regulations. Do not pour into sewer systems or storm drains.
MAINTENANCE
Clean with a neutral pH cleaners as needed. Consult a World Diamond Source Representative for further information.

Do not drink. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; drink two glasses of water and call a physician. Wear goggles and gloves. If splashed in eyes, rinse eyes immediately with clean water and call a physician if irritation persists. Clean skin with soap and water. CAUTION: Surfaces wet with Super-Guard (SG) may be slippery.

LIMITATIONS
A light lithium residue may form on the surface after the product dries. This is excess Super-Guard (SG) that was not absorbed and can be removed with a stiff broom or auto- scrubber. If the product is heavily overapplied, mechanical abrasion may be required to remove excess build-up.
Super-Guard (SG) will not bridge or fill cracks and will not salvage honeycombed or structurally unsound surfaces. Not suitable for asphalt, non-cement surfaces or painted surfaces. Paint and coatings may be applied over the top of Super-Guard (SG).
If Super-Guard (SG) comes into contact with glass, fabric, metal, or painted surfaces, im- mediately wipe contaminated surfaces with a damp cloth, then wipe dry with a second clean cloth.
